Socks and More Socks!
So there are several projects that I am working on right now, but they are presents so I will not be posting them until I have given them to whom they are intended for!
Until I am done with these projects and they are given at Christmas I will be posting old knitted projects!
The first one is a pair of socks I made for my mom! The socks are from the sock of the month club I am part of with TheKnitter.com. They are June’s socks; the pattern is Stars and Stripes by Judy Alexander. I used size 3 double pointed needles and 1 skein of Lana Grossa Meilenweit 100% Cotton Stretch yarn in the color of red.
The next pair of socks I made for my friend Lauren in exchange for one of her famous dish clothes that she makes! The pattern I found at Knitty.com! It is Pomatomus by Cookie A. I used size 3 double pointed needles and 2 skeins of Red Heart Ltd. Heart & Sole yarn in the colorway of Spring Stripe!
It seems like you either love making socks or cannot stand making them. I happen to be someone who LOVES making them! Unfortunately, I do get the syndrome where after I make one I don’t want to make the mate. If you get this also instead of trying to figure out how to knit two socks at one time, which I don’t understand, knit a different sock for a different pair and then go back to the original pattern for the second sock! That way when you get back to the original pattern it will be like knitting a new pair of socks!!
